Real Finds

Lots of great specimens today.  Especially on the Old Baltimore Road.  We started by crossing a wonderful covered  bridge.




The road was very winding.  It ran along a creek where the hillside was covered with rhododendron (Rhododendron Maximum) in full bloom.



We found black cohosh (Actea Racemosa)...








Some campanula....













and bee balm (Monarda)...

Driving into the sun, searching for a motel was a good way to end the day.
