Our little expedition hit a minor snag so we delayed our departure until Thursday. Check back then. But in the meantime, here is the view we had last night of the Manhattan skyline. This was taken from a beautiful pier park in Hoboken. It was a perfect vantage to watch the fireworks display that Macy's puts on for the city every Fourth of July. There were four or five separate barges from which the synchronized rockets were launched. We celebrated with a group of NYRA (New York Rowing Association) friends. Except for the agonizing drive home (there are only two egress points out of Hoboken) it was perfect. Hope your Fourth was special.
