ROADSIDE BOUQUETS -- WHERE THE WILDFLOWERS ARE. Two friends. One a botanist. The other a consultant with a flexible schedule and an interest in wildflowers and flower arranging. We collect and preserve specimens of flowering plants. We find them in vacant lots, roadside ditches, culverts, swamps, woods, hillsides and fields. Along the way we explore the small towns of America. And arrange some flowers to brighten the truck interior or leave behind to say thanks.

Canned Ham Winner
The RV experience inspired Daniel to go on eBay and find a trailer for future collecting trips. He found a beaut. Located in Peoria, Daniel is making a l-o-n-g sidetrip to pick it up on the way from Maine to North Carolina. On May 5 I will meet up with him in NC and see it for the first time. Daniel received official permission to collect in Pisgah National Forest. A rare privilege.

Yes indeed, I foresee collecting in junk stores as we travel around. The furnishings will have to be vintage for sure.
